Millimeter-Wave Dual-Polarized Dielectric Resonator Reflectarray Fabricated by 3D Printing With High Relative Permittivity Material

For the first time, a millimeter-wave dual-polarized dielectric resonator (DR) reflectarray fabricated by three-dimensional (3D) printing with high relative permittivity materials is presented. The unit cell of composed two elliptical DRs orthogonally placed in center. A base layer slab at bottom for fixture and connection its adjacent elements. each polarization, only length long axis one DR varied independently to obtain required reflecting phase response. Due orthogonality, isolation design independence between polarizations can be also obtained. square 16×16 elements working Ka-band was designed, printed, measured demonstration. peak antenna gain 22.53 dBi obtained, achieving enhancement 7.43 dB as compared that feed horn.
